Randy Richard Bark, age 57, of 724 Delta Ave. in Gladstone, passed away Saturday evening, October 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1960 in Flint, MI, the son of Richard and Mary Ellen (Connors) Bark. Randy grew up in McFarland as one of 8 children. He attended Mid Peninsula schools and graduated from Mid Pen High School in 1978. Following high school, Randy joined in the U.S. Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged. Throughout the years, he worked for a construction company in Maryland until he was injured from an accident in 1996. Randy returned to McFarland to be close to home and also his family. He believed in God, didn’t mind going to church, and wasn’t opposed to attending AA meetings. Randy enjoyed the outdoors and hunting in his earlier years. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.

Randy R. Bark is survived by sons, Jordan Bark of Rock, and Cody Bark of Rock; father, Richard Bark of Flushing, MI; step-father, Kenneth Pringle of Marquette, MI; sisters, Cindy (Brian) Nummilien of McFarland, MI, Candee (Bob) VanDamme of St. Nicholas, MI, Connie Beauchamp of Little Lake, MI, Carol “Chicky” (Bryan) Lancour of Marquette, MI, and Terri Ellen Couillard of Gwinn; step-sister, Suzanne Bark-Eggert of GA; brothers, Leslie (Elizabeth) Johnson of Shady Side, MD, and Archie (Diane) Johnson of Kunkletown, PA;  and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hilling on January 1, 2011; and his mother, Mary Ellen Pringle on October 13, 1999.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Turin Township Hall in McFarland. Memorial services celebrating the life of Randy will take place at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Turin Twp. Hall with Mr. Archie Johnson officiating.  Burial will take place in McFarland Cemetery with Military Honors conducted. A luncheon will be served afterward in the Turin Twp. Hall.
