I worked with Dave for many years at EMP. Dave, Dawn, Steve and I all shared a big office under the smiley face water tower and we had some great times in those close quarters. I was always interested in and jealous of Dave's stories about paying ahead on the house mortgage! He gave great advice and was a good mentor. He loved to talk about his kids. He was a good friend. The Linnee family moved in next door to our family sometime when they were all about high school age. It was nice to have friends next door. Diane is sweet, Don a hoot and Dave always a good man you could count on. I last saw Dave when I still lived in Gladstone; ran into him bowling. He always asked after my mom. Our parents still live next door. Prayers for his passage to Heaven and comfort for those who were blessed to know and love him.

Today I and others are mourning the loss of a great friend and college roommate David Linnee. While your time here was short, the countless memories of great times and endless laughs will be treasured forever.....our Jim Beam drinking days and long walks along the RR tracks to Sherman Park, the D2 parties and serving Old Milwaukee 40 ouncers because they outlawed kegs on campus because of us, trading crazy pranks with our fellow townhousers (I can still smell that damn fish!) and dancing until the sun came up to Jungle Love, loving life at our Attic parties and scrubbing pans at Canusa Hall, and so many more to mention. It goes without saying that you touched each of our lives in a special way and you will always be remembered. Farewell Dave until we meet again. Scooter
