William Premo, Jr.

William LeRoy Premo, Jr., age 68, passed away Tuesday evening, October 6, 2020 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born on April 25, 1952 in Waukegan, IL, the son of William and Carol (Perry) Premo, Sr. William was a 1970 graduate of Escanaba High School. He moved to California, Indiana, and later relocated to Texas. In 1990, William returned to Escanaba and for the past 20 years has resided in Green Bay, WI. He worked for over 25 years in automotive service with more than 5 years as ASE certified in engine repair and performance and more than 15 years as ASE master certified. He enjoyed working on cars and engines and was known as a “motorhead.” William loved stock car racing and worked on many pit crews throughout the years. He was employed at Packerland Packing Co. in Green Bay, WI from 2000 to 2006. He lived a simple life and enjoyed downhill skiing, deer hunting, playing the accordion in his youth, repairing and tinkering with computers, and attending auto shows and auto races.

William Premo, Jr. is survived by his mother, Carol Premo of Gladstone; 2 brothers, Jeff of Escanaba, and Scott of Garland, TX; 2 sisters, Dawn of Phelps, WI, and Wendy of Cannon Falls, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father, William LeRoy Premo, Sr.; and daughter, Heather Premo.

Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls, MI.
