Teresa Jean (LeBeau) Sherman passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 of natural causes. She was born September 26, 1931 in Niagara, WI, the daughter of George and Adriana (Betters) LeBeau. Teresa was a longtime member of St. Thomas Church in Escanaba, and their Church Circle. Her career was spent as a bookkeeper at several businesses around Niagara and Escanaba. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading and bird watching. Teresa cherished the pets she had over many years.
Teresa Jean Sherman is survived by her three children, Cynthia J. Sherman-Jones, Pamela A. Sherman-Wells, and Susanne M. Sherman; grandchildren, April Sherman, Daniel Sherman, Adriana (Chris) Steinberg, Teresa Sherman-Jones, Nicholas Sherman-Jones, Mark Young, Chelsea Young, Alexander Wells, Joshua Wells; two great-grandchildren, Hailie Young, and Robin Sherman-Jones; brother, David (Angie) LeBeau; Goddaughter, Lisa Willard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, George T. LeBeau and Adriana (Betters) LeBeau; her husband Daniel (Don) U. Sherman; her son, Mark D. Sherman; and her sister, Jeanine A. (LeBeau) Willard.
Private family funeral services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba with Father Rick Courier as the officiant. Burial took place in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of other expressions or sympathies, the family asks that donations please be made to the Delta County Animal Shelter.
