Tami Ann Strand

Tami Ann Strand, age 62, of Denmark, WI, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI with her daughter, Nicole, by her side. She was born on June 9, 1960 in Norway, MI, the daughter of Sanford “Sam” and Dorothy (Cory) Strand. Tami was raised and attended school in Gladstone where she was a 1978 graduate of Gladstone High School. She went on to further her education to attend the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis, MN and obtained her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Services. She was employed as a dispatcher for Gladstone Public Safety before taking a position in car sales in Green Bay, WI. She later worked in F&I at Riverside Auto in Escanaba. Tami enjoyed playing pool, hunting and fishing, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan - just like her mother, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Tami is survived by daughter, Nicole (Kyle) Towns of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren, Finnegan, Kinsley, Brecken, and Ava Jo; brothers, Ross (Lee Anne) Strand of Escanaba, and Troy (Jeff) Strand of Chicago; companion, Burt Umentum of Denmark, WI; niece, Rachael Strand; and nephews, Sam and Zeke Strand.

In addition to her parents, Tami was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Strand.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life will follow at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, with Pastor Aaron Anderson officiating. Burial will take place in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
