Sylvia N. Kitchekeg

Sylvia N. Kitchekeg, age 86, of Escanaba, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 16, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Kline) Rosene. The former Sylvia Rosene married Faron Kitchekeg and he preceded her in death. Sylvia was a proud homemaker and cared for her family. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Escanaba.

Sylvia is survived by son, Charles (Trina) Kitchekeg of Escanaba; daughter, Elizabeth (Ken) Carmona of Big Wells, TX; 5 grandchildren; and brother, Chuck Rosene of St. Louis, MO.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Escanaba with Pastor Lewis Hague officiating.
