Sharron Bellefeuille Obituary

Sharron Marie Bellefeuille, 75, passed away from an apparent heart attack in the early morning of November 19, 2022 at home. Sharron peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior and had a joyful reunion with her parents; daughter, Tracey; and other family that have gone before her. She was the daughter of Esther M. (Daily) and John J. Bellefeuille born on July 16, 1947.

She graduated from Escanaba High School and following graduation she married and dedicated her life to raising her four children and caring for her home. She saw motherhood as a worthy pursuit and dedicated herself to it. Once her children were older, she worked outside the home for The Michigan Unemployment Office, deli at Super One Foods and then spent 25 years working as a Dietary Aide at Christian Park Center. She loved her work and the friends she met there. She retired in 2020.

Sharron enjoyed music, puzzles, shopping, home decorating and spending time with her family. She also loved animals of all kinds, flower gardening and feeding and watching the birds. She had a kind, friendly, gentle spirit and would show love and kindness to anyone needing a friend.  Her ability to discern people and situations and give wise counsel was a gift from the Lord. She was also a woman who had honorable character and great strength. She persevered through many trials in her life with great dignity. Sharron was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Among survivors are three of her children, James Leach of Gladstone, Trina (Jamie) Sanville of Gladstone, and John Leach of Florida; her grandchildren, Kayla Nantelle (Armando), Jenny Kwarciany, Neil Sanville, and Leah Sanville; siblings, Martha Miller of Cooks, Charles (Yvonne) King of Tennesse, Yvonne McCarthy of Wisconsin, Mildred Landers of Hillsdale, Michigan, Gloria (Phil) Griffin of Arizona, Nancy (Dave) Amato of New York, and Al (Judy) Bellefeuille of Bark River; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Tracey Leach; brothers, Jack Bellefeuille and William “Junior” King.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Snacks and refreshments will be served during the time of visitation.
