Sarah Sarnowski Obituary

Sarah Ann Sarnowski of Bark River, Michigan, age 32, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Sarah was born to Patti Hebert and Mike Ledford on May 9, 1991, in Escanaba, MI. She was baptized and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Bark River. She was a 2009 graduate of Bark River High School.

Sarah found her calling caring for others during her years of work as a CNA, doing a job not everyone could do. She cared deeply for her patients and enjoyed that work. She was currently employed as a mail carrier for the USPS.

Sarah enjoyed deer hunting in her younger years and was starting to share her love of the hunt with her boys.

Also, most people didn’t know that she enjoyed singing and had a voice made for it. Sarah also loved to dance with her kids.

She recently began gardening both flowers and vegetables, another hobby she enjoyed sharing with her children.

Sarah loved going on side-by-side and four-wheeler rides with her kids and taking them across the field to Papa’s house. She also enjoyed going to camp with her family, whether on the lake or in the woods.

Sarah leaves behind her husband Justin Sarnowski; children Landon Clark, JJ, Jaxtyn and Joslyn Sarnowski; parents Patti (Bob Sagataw) Hebert and Mike (Christy Herrild) Ledford; maternal grandparents Cindie Johnston, Jim and Judy Hebert, and paternal grandparents Ruth and Harold Ness; sister Melissa (Brian Veeser) Ledford, great aunts and uncles, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Welcoming Sarah to Heaven are her son Mason Clark; and cousin Travis Hebert.
