Sadie Elizabeth Overland

Sadie Elizabeth Overland, age 29, of Manistique, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 in Vero Beach, FL. She was born on July 16, 1990 in Manistique, MI, the daughter of Stephen Overland and Melissa Kerridge. Sadie attended school in Germfask and later at Jack Reque Alternative School in Manistique. She was a wild soul that enjoyed living life and spending time with her son. Sadie enjoyed four-wheeling, mudding, swimming, and spending her time outdoors. She always took care of everyone else and looked out for others.

Sadie E. Overland is survived by her son, Jesse Lee Chambers (age 10) of Germfask, MI; mother, Melissa (Brian) Losey of Germfask, MI; sister, Cynthia Lee Kerridge of Manistique, MI; brother, Stephen Allen Overland of Menominee, MI; grandmothers Diane Kerridge of Manistique, MI, and Carol Strauser of Manistique, MI; one niece, Madison Bosanic; two nephews, Stephen Overland, Jr. and Emmitt Overland; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private family visitation was held on Wednesday afternoon, April 15, 2020 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Native American graveside services are being planned for May of 2020. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Manistique, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
