Ryan Christopher Strem

Ryan Christopher Strem, age 44, of Escanaba passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his home in Escanaba. He was born November 3, 1980, in Escanaba and was the son of William and Bonnie (Nelson) Strem. Ryan graduated from Escanaba High School with the class of 1999. He worked for several years at Pinecrest Medical Center in Powers in the Maintenance Department. Ryan had a passion for bird and deer hunting, enjoyed preparing for the hunt and he harvested many large bucks over the years on the family hunting property in Bark River. He also enjoyed riding his six-wheeler and working and maintaining it.

Ryan is survived by parents William and Bonnie Strem; sister Jessica (John) Gannon of Fairfax, VA and Cassandra (Brian) Kleiman of Wilson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grand parents Leif and Alice Nelson, and paternal grand parents Harry and Nancy Strem.

Private family visitation and funeral services celebrating the life of Ryan Christopher Strem will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Markwell officiating.
