Ronald Robert Beauchamp

Ronald Robert Beauchamp, age 59, of Wilson, passed away Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 16, 1961 in Escanaba, one of five children to Verlarae Freda (Slagstad) and Robert Joseph Beauchamp. Ron was raised and attended high school in Escanaba. He moved to Houston, TX working construction with his brother, Larry, before moving back to Escanaba. On May 27, 1988, Ron married his high school sweetheart, Sally Lavolette in Escanaba. Ron worked as a drywaller throughout Wisconsin for a few years. Upon having his children, he started his own business locally, Ronny B. Drywall & Plaster. Ron ran his business and stayed busy up until the day he passed. His kids were his passion in life, he was always there for them in whichever sporting event they chose to be a part of and was always their biggest fan. He also was influential in helping his children enjoy the outdoors and sports. Ron especially loved his new role of being Grandpa to his grandson, Cash. A huge part of Ron’s life was attending any and all races he could go to, and was an avid baseball fan – especially the Milwaukee Brewers. He greatly enjoyed taking joy rides, the outdoors, and hunting. When asked a few weeks ago what his favorite holiday was, Ron answered “Huntin’ Season.” Ronny B. always had a sense of humor and lived life fiercely. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

Ronald Beauchamp is survived by his son, Bobby Beauchamp (Chelsea Kossow) of Escanaba; daughter, Gabrielle Beauchamp (fiancé Zach O’Dell) of Chapel Hill, NC; one grandson, Cash O’Dell and one grandchild due in January 2022; sisters, Judi Beauchamp of AZ, and Karen Beauchamp of Escanaba, mother of his children, Sally Lavolette of Wells; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Beauchamp; and sister, Susan Mosier.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Ron will follow at 4:00 p.m., Monday, with Rev. Stephen Cowen officiating. A luncheon will be held at the conclusion of the services in the Anderson Funeral Home reception room. Burial will take place in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
