Robert F. Berry

Robert Fredrick Berry of Munising, Michigan, formerly of Newberry, age 90, passed away on February 20, 2025, at the Medilodge of Munising.

He was born to William and Anna (Driscoll) Berry, Sr., in Newberry on March 7, 1934. After graduating from Newberry High School, Bobby joined the United States Army proudly and courageously flag and country during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper. 

Upon his honorable discharge, Bobby began a career with the U.S. Postal Service in Ann Arbor, Michigan that lasted over thirty years. After his retirement, it was time to return home to the Upper Peninsula.

Bobby is survived by his sons Jeffrey and Gregory Berry of Newberry; special niece Donna Perry of Clio, MI; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and other beloved members of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Mary Ann (Ed) Stephenson, William (Dorothy) Berry, Jr., Betty Jo Bristow; Kay (George) Terrain; Kathleen Berry, and Jay Leonard Berry.

A graveside presentation of military honors will take place for Bob at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Forest Home Cemetery, Newberry, MI
