Patricia Coltrin Obituary

Patricia Lou Coltrin, age 90, of Escanaba, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Erie, PA, the daughter of Walter T. and Catherine (Riley) Coltrin. Patricia was raised and attended school in California. She owned and operated a nursery school in Bakersfield, CA for 25 years and also nannied for many families. The former Patricia Coltrin married Frank Thoman in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1995. In her retirement years, Patricia greatly enjoyed traveling to various places around the world. She relocated to Escanaba four years ago to be closer to her daughter.

Patricia Lou Coltrin is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Ammons of Escanaba; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Also, her beloved Umbhau-Gerasole Family of Evanston, IL.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Hopper; and brother, Walter "Buddy" W. Coltrin.

Private family services will be held.
