Michelle M. Maki

Michelle M. Maki, age 54, of Escanaba, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba. She was born on January 9, 1967 in Escanaba, the daughter of Judith Mineau. Michelle attended school in Escanaba and was a 1985 graduate of Escanaba High School. She went on to attend Bay de Noc Community College for two years. Michelle was employed at Bertrand’s Awards and Engraving in Escanaba and later worked in the construction field until her retirement due to health reasons. Michelle enjoyed camping, bonfires, spending time outdoors, and playing pool.

Michell M. Maki is survived by her sons, Gary Maki of Escanaba, and Sean (Kirsten) Health of Roanoke, VA; sister, Kathy Mineau of Escanaba; brother, Mike Mineau of Escanaba; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Mineau; and grandmother, Ruby Winton.

Private family memorial services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery.
