Martin Dale Jensen

Martin Dale Jensen, age 58, of Gladstone, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at U.P. Health System – Marquette. He was born on October 12, 1962 in Escanaba, the son of Dale and Avis (Newlin) Jensen. Martin was raised and attended school in Gladstone, where he was a 1980 graduate of Gladstone High School. Following graduation, Martin went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy for 8 years until he was honorably discharged. He then returned to the Upper Peninsula and was employed as a heavy equipment operator and also worked on the Texas powerline installing windmills. Martin enjoyed anything that involved the outdoors – especially hunting and fishing. He had a very outgoing personality and loved spending time with others.

Martin Dale Jensen is survived by his son, Ben; daughter, Jenny; father, Dale (Carol) Jensen; mother, Avis Jensen (Bob Valley); sisters, Faith Ann (Jerry) Sebeck, Peggy Jensen, and Amy (Todd) Constantino; step-sisters, Lisa (Dan) Casey, and Angela (Ryan) Phinney; special friend, Deb Stenlund; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the White Birch Tavern in Flat Rock.
