Lynn Marie Walden

Lynn Marie Walden of Escanaba, Michigan, age 70, passed away on July 7, 2025, at Christian Park Village in Escanaba.

She was born to Aaron and Mary (Krajewski) Walden in Chicago, IL on August 25, 1954. She graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in Omaha, NE. She moved to California and attended college in San Jose, CA, later moving to Marquette and attending Northern Michigan University receiving her bachelor’s and master’s Degrees from Northern Michigan University. She was employed by Northern Michigan University in the Dean of Student’s Office. Later in her working career she was a tutor for children and adults with special needs.

After she retired, she moved to Escanaba and worked at Goodwill Industries in Escanaba.  Lynn had many and varied interests. She had a very creative mind and was artistic.  She had a list for everything, was an avid reader and even had a list of every book she read. She really enjoyed her computer and loved researching. The simple things in life gave her great pleasure.

Lynn is survived by her father, Aaron (Darlene) Walden of Kansas City, MO; brother Steve (Marlene) Walden of Marquette, MI and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Barbara Walden in 1983. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
