Lynda G. Nedeau, age 79, of Rapid River, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Christian Park Village in Escanaba. She was born on August 22, 1943 in Nahma, MI, the daughter of Edwin and Helen (Snow) Olson. Lynda was raised in Isabella and was a 1961 graduate of Nahma High School. The former Lynda Olson married David Nedeau on December 9, 1961 in Isabella. Together, the couple shared 61 years of marriage and raised their daughter, Deanna. She then worked at Mac’s Bar in Nahma as a cook and later at the Nahma Inn as a chef until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved being outdoors – especially fishing, snowmobiling, and going on jeep rides. She also enjoyed picking berries and wild flowers playing cards and cribbage. Lynda found joy in painting, and loved her cat, Dolly. But most of all, her family and grandchildren meant the world to her.
