Kimber Lee Cunningham

Kimber Lee (Cartwright) Cunningham, age 58, of Huffman, TX, formerly of Escanaba, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Huffman, TX. She was born on May 27, 1962 in Escanaba, the daughter of Roy and Marilyn (Murray) Cartwright. Kimber was raised in Escanaba where she also graduated from high school. The former Kimber Cartwright married Joe Cunningham on May 11, 1985. Together, the couple shared 35 years of marriage and raised 2 children. Kimber was a florist for HEB for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, writing songs and stories, and taking the grandkids on “adventures.”

Kimber Lee Cunningham is survived by her husband, Joe Cunningham; children, Darren Ingebrigtsen, and Connie McKiddie; grandchildren, Olivia Ingebrigtsen, Sadie Ingebrigtsen, Aiden McKiddie, and Madelyn McKiddie; father, Roy Cartwright; siblings, Mark Cartwright, Tom Cartwright, and Connie Lark; and several nieces and nephews.

Kimber was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Cartwright.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba with Pastor Jay Gilchrist officiating. Burial will follow the graveside services.
