Kevin Richard Kenneally

Kevin Richard Kenneally, age 58, of De Pere, WI, passed away Thursday evening, July 28, 2022 in Escanaba. He was born on February 22, 1964 in Escanaba, the son of Robert “Budd” and Lois (Schram) Kenneally. Kevin was raised and attended school in Escanaba where he was a 1982 graduate of Escanaba High School. During this time, he was an avid athlete and played on the Class A State Championship Football Team in 1981. Following graduation, Kevin attended Central Michigan University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He went on to further his education to obtain a Master’s Degree in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Kevin was employed as Vice President at Morgan Financial Services in Green Bay, WI. He loved cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers and enjoyed going to the games to tailgate even if he didn’t have a ticket (often watching the football game in the parking lot). Escanaba was always home to Kevin and he always had a place in his heart for the Escanaba Eskymos. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed spending time at his lake house on Shakey Lake, and was an avid golfer. Kevin adored his nieces and nephews and was definitely the “Favorite Uncle.” He had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. Kevin often said, “If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space in the world.”

Kevin is survived by his brother, Thomas (Sandy) Kenneally of San Tan Valley, AZ; sister, Kay Kenneally Chase of Neenah, WI; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Joey, Casey, Patrick, Keri, Tara, Tim, Kelly, Katie, and Meagan; several great-nieces and nephews; many cousins; sister-in-law, Patti Kenneally of Wells; and girlfriend, Jane Collegnon of Escanaba.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry and Tim Kenneally.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Kevin will follow at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Cowen officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at the conclusion of the services. A “Kick A**” social gathering will be held after the committal services at Chenier’s Reef in Escanaba.
