Kent R. Brannstrom

Kent R. Brannstrom, age 60, of Rapid River, MI passed away on Tuesday April 9,2024 at Auburn Community Hospital in Auburn, NY. He was born October 11, 1963 in Escanaba, MI and was the son of Lloyd and LaVerne (Karasti) Brannstrom. Kent graduated from Rapid River High School in May of 1982. He worked as a carpenter and a general contractor for himself and numerous companies throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and New York.                                                                  

Kent is survived by his brother Kurt (Diane) Brannstrom of Savannah, GA; nephew Kyle (Rebecca) Brannstrom, niece Kristina (Scott) Jorgenson and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Karl and Kraig Brannstrom.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 24,2024 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Kent Brannstrom will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Frankenstein officiating. Burial will take place in the Rapid River Cemetery. A social gathering will be held at the Brannstrom home following the burial.
