John Patrick Summers

John Patrick Summers, Sr., age 64, of Escanaba passed away on October 13, 2023. He was born May 20, 1959 in
Escanaba and was the son of Michael and Phyllis Summers. John attended Escanaba High School and served in the
U.S. Marines from June of 1977 until he was honorably discharged in June of 1981. He enjoyed spending time
outside and visiting his granddaughters.
John is survived by; wife Laurie (Maycroft) Summers; parents Michael and Phyllis Summers; daughters, Katie
(David Wro) Maycroft and Sara (Tyler) Parrott; son John (Brianna Joncas) Summers, Jr.; granddaughters Lee,
Averi and Charlotte; sisters Barbara (Walter) Fleury, Diane (Mike) Buckland, Mary (Randy) Smith and Karen
(Greg) Smith and brother Michael (Janice) Summers; and many nieces and nephews.
Private family services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home.
