John M. Desfosses

John M. Desfosses, age 25, of Escanaba passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at OSF- St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. He was born May 28, 1998 in Escanaba, MI and was the son of Kevin Desfosses and April Micheau. John was a resident at Whispering Pines- East in Escanaba.. He was a very quiet child who was always very happy. John loved throwing his ball, which gave him great joy! John loved his family and his family loved him greatly. He was a child of God- who is now with God !  

John is survived by his mother April Micheau; sister Kim Desfosses (Jared Leadman) of Rapid River; grandparents Carol Lindstrom of Escanaba and Stephen Micheau (Lynne) of Masa, AZ; Aunts Mellanie (William) Lehman of Gladstone and Judith Bridgeford of Appleton, WI and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Kevin Desfosses.

A memorial gathering for John Desfosses will be held at a later date.
