Jill A. Bolm, age 60, of Escanaba, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 28, 2022 at Christian Park Village in Escanaba. She was born on May 21, 1962 in Escanaba, the daughter of Paul and Nancy (Martinson) Bolm. Jill was raised and attended school in Escanaba and was a 1980 graduate of Escanaba where she enjoyed being part of the track team. She went on to attend Bay College and later Northern Michigan University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, Jill moved to Milwaukee, WI to begin her employment with Boucher Motor Group. She worked for 33 years as the payroll and insurance coordinator until her retirement in 2017. After retiring, Jill moved back to Escanaba. She greatly enjoyed cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers, Miller Lite Beer, treating herself to chocolate, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers – all in that order. Jill was an avid reader and QVC shopper. Each year, Jill looked forward to her annual camping trip with friends, Marge, Connie, and Toni, where they always had a different “theme” for their adventures. Family meant the world to Jill and she loved spoiling her nephews and niece.
Jill is survived by her siblings, Kim (Mike) Kallio of Gladstone, MI, Jeff (Jane) Bolm of Manistique, MI, and Kerri (Kevin) Wise of Grafton, WI; nephews and niece, Brian Kallio, David Kallio, Tyler Bolm, Travis Bolm, Karsen Wise, Ethan Wise, and Aaron Wise; also extended family and friends.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Nancy Bolm.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Christian Park Village for the kind and compassionate care given to Jill.
