Jack Lee Posenke, age 76, of Bark River (Riverland area), passed away Tuesday morning, April 6, 2021 at his home with his wife, Mary, by his side. He was born on June 4, 1944 in Escanaba, the son of Ormal and Elaine (Coulliard) Posenke. Jack was raised one of six kids in Rock where he also attended school. He moved to Escanaba and began his working career in construction with Snowden’s. He married the former Mary Carlson on July 16, 1988 at the Munising Waterfalls. Together, the couple shared 32 years of marriage. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors – especially working in his garden. Jack and his wife, Mary, were very well known at the local Escanaba Farmer’s Market for selling their garlic, onions, jams, and crafts for over 25 years. Jack was a longtime member of the U.P.
