The Honorable Robert E. Goebel, Jr. passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home in Rapid River, MI. Judge Goebel served on the bench for 40 years as the Judge in the Delta County Probate Court.

Robert is survived by wife Regina “Reggie” Goebel of Rapid River, brother Gary (Sue) Goebel of Clarkston, MI; step children Dan (Val) Howell of Rapid River, Kristina Korpi of Crystal Falls, MI and Jennifer Howell of Marquette and several nieces and nephews.

Private family visitation was held at the Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Rapid River Cemetery. The Anderson Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Goebel family with the arrangements and online condolences can be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralhomes.net.
