Grace Marie Nebel

Grace Marie Nebel, age 81, of Brampton peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was born February 26, 1944 in Escanaba, MI and was the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy (McClish) Besson. She also loved her step-mom, Irene (McClish) Besson.  She was the second oldest of nine girls in the Besson family. Grace married Thomas George Nebel on December 29, 1962.   Grace and Tom celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Grace was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Escanaba, MI.  She lived a life centered on faith, love, and service to others, always extending kindness, encouragement, and wisdom to those around her.  She dedicated her life to God through work, family, and charity.

Grace is survived by her husband Thomas; children George & Cheryl, Waxhaw, NC, John & Linda, North Branch, MI, David & Ron, Cincinnati, OH, and Mary, Richland, MI; grandchildren Eric, Jared, Lauren, Amber, Patrick, and Alyssa; and one great grandchild, Emma.  She loved her family and enjoyed a good laugh with her sisters!

Services will be at Berean Baptist Church in Escanaba on Friday April 4th.  A visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and funeral services celebrating the life of Grace Nebel will be at 11:00 a.m.  A light luncheon will follow the funeral service. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
