Glorious T. Ross

Glorious Teresa Tanner Ross, follower of Jesus Christ, of Bark River, Michigan was born in Great Falls, Montana on May 22, 1963 and transitioned to Heaven on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 56 years of age. Glorious died in an automobile accident on US-141 in Iron County, Michigan.  

The daughter of the late Wilfred A. Tanner, Sr. and the late Gloria Rosemary Candiff Tanner, Glorious is preceded in death by her daughter Gloria Monique Tanner. She is survived by Michael Glenn Tanner and his wife Erica, Immaculata (Mackie) Pettigrew, Chantillique (Channie) Tanner, U.S. Marines Corporal Benjamin Tanner, Jacinta Tanner Mathis, Wilfred A. Tanner, Jr., Maria Goretti (Gingerbread) Tanner, Retired Army MSgt/1Sgt Ralph Anthony Tanner, and numerous loving grandchildren and family members.

Glorious was a certified Recovery Coach in Connecticut, Texas and Michigan. She also completed her certification as a Student Electrician at the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation and attended Rutledge Business College in Atlanta, Georgia. Glorious was actively involved in Wellspring Community Church and Harbor Lights Church of God, both in Escanaba, Michigan. A heartfelt thank you to the members of Wellspring Community Church for their gracious support and assistance in this challenging time. Your love and care is greatly appreciated, treasured and esteemed. Also thank you family and friends, you are all so very cherished. Many will greatly miss her but all should be joyous that Glorious Tanner Ross is now with Jesus Christ, her Savior and Lord.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Wellspring Community Church, located in the Delta Plaza Mall at 301 Lincoln Road, Escanaba, Michigan 49829 with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating. The Celebration of Life for Glorious Tanner Ross will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. with a meal and balloon release following the Celebration. Glorious was an important part of the Wellspring Community Church and touched many lives with her transparency, active involvement, and her resounding praise and worship. Interment will be in New Orleans, Louisiana.
