Dotty C. Wilcox

Dotty C. Wilcox, age 70, of Escanaba, passed away Friday evening, March 5, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She was born on October 13, 1950 in Bay City, MI, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy (Walker) Miller. Dotty was raised outside of the Bay City area where she also attended school. The former Dotty Miller married Glenn R. Wilcox on November 28, 1970 in Omer, MI. Together, the couple shared 50 years of marriage. Dotty was a proud homemaker where she cared for her loving family. After Glenn retired in 1999, the couple relocated from Au Gres, MI to Escanaba to enjoy their retirement years in the Upper Peninsula. Dotty greatly enjoyed traveling to various places and loved her family dearly – especially her grandchildren.

Dotty C. Wilcox is survived by her husband, Glenn Wilcox, Sr. of Escanaba; son, Glenn Wilcox, Jr. of Escanaba; daughters, Michelle (Robert) Hood of Bay City, MI, Pam Murawski of Roscommon, MI, and Heather Turner of Escanaba; step-daughter, Kelly (Mark) Spencer of Standish, MI; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Shawn) Miller of Bay City, MI; sister, Sharon (Dan) Sajdak of Grand Blanc, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dotty was preceded in death by her sister, Carla Wheeler.

Private services celebrating the life of Dotty will be held at a later date.
