Obituary

Davis “Dave” T. Aos, age 69, of Gladstone, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. He was born on February 26, 1953 in Escanaba, the son of Thomas and Joyce “Scotty” (Davis) Aos. Dave was raised in Gladstone where he was a 1972 graduate of Gladstone High School. He married the former Laurene LeClaire on May 4, 1974 at First Lutheran Church in Gladstone. Together, the couple just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. Dave worked for Eaton Corp. in Gladstone for 17 years until their closure. He then joined and was employed with the Painters Union until his retirement in 2000. Dave had an artistic gift and enjoyed painting artwork and carving. He also looked forward to spending time outdoors, especially camping, hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Dave is survived by his wife, Laurene “Laurie” Aos of Gladstone; children, Kory Aos of Gladstone, Brett (Heather) Aos of Gladstone, Kyle Aos of Gladstone, and Renae (Andrew) Cook of Coleman, WI; 5 grandsons, Christian, Gavin, Ayden, Nolan, and Lucas; 4 granddaughters, Malaina, Hailey, Taylor, and Layla; brother, Douglas Aos of ND; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Aos.

Private family funeral services will be held at a later date.
