David Moberg Obituary

David Allen Moberg, age 68, of Escanaba, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 3, 1952 in Escanaba, the son of John H. and Jean F. (Baker) Moberg. David was raised in Escanaba and was a 1971 graduate of Escanaba High School. Following graduation, David worked in the trades as a heavy equipment operator until 1992 when he began truck driving. He was employed by deBoer Trucking of Stevens Point, WI as a long hall trucker and would often travel out west for work. David retired in November of 2018. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, always looked forward to hunting season, and loved spending time at his camp in Watson – MokaLodge. David was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and rarely missed watching a game.

David Allen Moberg is survived by his siblings, Barb (Tom) Kase of Park Ridge, IL, Jim (Elizabeth) Moberg of Cornell, and Mary (Dwayne) Feathers of Rapid River; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
