Daniel Jay Emmett

Daniel Jay Emmett, age 75, of Rapid River (Nahma) passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his home in Nahma. He was born on September 28, 1950, in Tennessee and was the son of Jay and Eva (Newkirk) Emmett. Danny graduated from Joliet High School and then attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT. He led a quiet life but loved to visit with his neighbors and spend time with his cats. When he was young, he enjoyed fishing with his mother and spending time outdoors.

Daniel is survived by his good friend and caregiver Diane Allana Warner of Nahma and several cousins.

Burial services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, November 3, 2025, at Moss Lake Cemetery with Terri Branstrom officiating. Burial will take place in the Moss Lake Cemetery.
