Connie L Fuller

Connie L. Fuller, age 74, of Rock passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at OSF- St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. She was born May 28, 1949 in Detroit, MI and was the daughter of Henry and Coralee (Watts) Norkoli. Connie graduated from Rock High School in 1967. The former Connie Norkoli married Jerry Amis in June of 1968 and he preceded her in death. Connie later married Keith Fuller in 1984 and then moved to Texas. In 1986 she attended Texas College and earned a Medical Assisting Certificate. Connie and her family moved back to Rock, MI in 1991. Connie was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) in 1986. She always had a positive attitude and a great outlook on life, even with her disabilities. Connie served on the SAIL (Superior Alliance for Independent Living), Disability Network Board of Directors, DATA (Delta Area Transit Authority) Board of Directors and was a volunteer with MLTCOP (Michigan Long Term Care Ombudsman Program).

Connie is survived by her sons, Jerry Amis of Rock, Rieke (Sarah) Amis of Negaunee, Phillip Amis of Marquette, Daughter-in-law Racheal Fuller of Minnesota, 7 grandchildren; brother Raymond (Evelyn) Norkoli of Rock and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Connie was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Fuller.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Connie, will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darin Kelsey officiating. A luncheon will be served, following the funeral services, in the Anderson Funeral Home fellowship hall. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock Cemetery.
