Carl James Pellinen

Carl James Pellinen, age 59, of Gladstone passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Whitmore Lake, MI. He was born on January 5, 1966, in Escanaba, MI and was the son of Roger and Rosetta (Allardyce) Pellinen. Carl graduated from Gladstone High School in 1984 and was employed at the Edsel Sipinen Farm and Saw Days River. He later was employed as an over-the-road truck driver. Carl enjoyed riding his dune buggy and snowmobile.

Carl is survived by his mother Rosie (David) McKnight; brother Kevin (Michelle) Pellinen of Iowa City, Iowa; three nieces Rachelle, Magan and Amber and one nephew Matthew.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Carl James Pellinen will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Breault officiating. Burial will take place following the services at the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
