Belinda Sue (Rinckey) Barger, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, after fighting a debilitating disease for more than three decades. Belinda was born on December 2, 1957, and her family settled in Highland, MI. Belinda lived in Colorado for nearly thirty years before returning to Michigan.
Belinda was passionate about music. She spent her life playing piano and composing music. She also played the mandolin and had the voice of an angel. Belinda shared her love of music and passed it onto many others through her teachings and performances.
Belinda loved the outdoors, especially the mountains, and was an avid outdoorswoman. Some of her favorite activities were downhill, telemark, and cross-country skiing; mountain biking; waterskiing; and hiking. She knew how to enjoy life to the fullest and she ensured everyone around her did the same.
Belinda touched the lives of so many. She worked in the school systems for over thirty years and still remained in touch with many of her students. She had a heart of gold and always had a way of seeing the best in everyone.
Belinda was preceded in death by her mother Donna Rinckey. She is survived by her father Russell Rinckey, her daughter Ari Hahn (husband Michael), and her life partner David Pipper. Belinda was close to her family and was blessed with a large extended family full of love.
