Beatrice J. Erickson

Beatrice J. Erickson, age 72, of Escanaba, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. She was born on July 30, 1951 in Escanaba, the daughter of Robert and Betty (Johnson) Erickson. Beatrice attended the Kennedy School for Handicapped Children (her parents were founding members). She enjoyed spending time and going to camp in Perkins. Beatrice was a kind and loving person who loved nature. She was employed for many years at Lakestate Industries in Escanaba.

Beatrice is survived by her brother, Robert (Connie) Erickson, Jr. of Yuma, AZ; one nephew, Robbie Erickson; and caregivers, Randy and Pam Tauke of Gladstone.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her father, Robert Erickson on February 22, 2014; her mother, Betty Erickson on January 21, 2018 and sister Barbara Erickson on October 13, 2020.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Beatrice will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Father Robb Jurkovich officiating. Burial will take place in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery. A special thank you to Helping Hands Adult Foster Care for their care and compassion given to Beatrice.
