Alice M. LaChapelle

Alice M. LaChapelle, age 91, of Escanaba passed away Wednesday, January29, 2025 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. She was born January 29, 1934 in Watson, MI and was the daughter of Hector and Nancy (Allen) LaChapelle. Alice grew up in Escanaba and as a teenager moved to Green Bay, WI and later to Kenosha, WI. Alice was employed at Cherry Electric, in Kenosha, WI, working on the assembly line. After her retirement she moved back to Escanaba. Alice was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Alice is survived by her siblings; Clara Ruperd of Kenosha, WI, Ervin (Barb) LaChapelle of Escanaba, Harold (Debbie) LaChapelle of Escanaba, Ruby Nantelle of Gladstone, Rose Koeller of Gladstone, and Dennis (Kathy) LaChapelle of Gladstone and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Michael and brothers Ernest, Clarence, Hector, Steve and Dale and sisters Jane, Gladys, and Lorretta.
