Vanesa L. Mosier

Vanesa L. Mosier, age 49, of Escanaba, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at U.P. Health System – Marquette. She was born on February 25, 1969, the daughter of Lucretia “Kewpie” (Allsworth) Mosier. Vanesa grew up in Escanaba and was a 1988 graduate from James R. Fitzharris High School. She worked as a nurse at Christian Park Healthcare Center for a few years until she became a homemaker caring for her family. Vanesa enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, and cooking. She had many friends and a wonderful sense of humor.

Vanesa Mosier is survived by daughter, Jade Williamson of Escanaba; son, Jason Mosier-Reisner of Escanaba; grandchildren, Catherine Reisner and Owen Reisner; special friend, Hue Reisner of Escanaba; 2 brothers; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Vanesa was preceded in death by her mother, Lucretia “Kewpie” Mosier on December 27, 2008.

A celebration of Vanesa’s life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Highland Golf Club, west of Escanaba. A luncheon will also be served during the time of gathering.
