Susan Mosier Obituary

Susan “Sue” Kathlene (Beauchamp) Mosier, 65, passed away unexpectedly in her home embraced by her eldest daughter on December 30, 2019. Sue was born on Oct 11, 1954 to Verlarae Freda (Slagstad) and Robert Joseph Beauchamp. She was the oldest of 5 children and had an integral role in raising her siblings. Sue graduated from EHS in 1972 and went on to receive her Associates Degree in Psychology at Bay de Noc Community College. Her first of three children was born in 1974. Sue would often remark that her purpose and greatest joy in life was raising her family. Sue was an amazing mother and friend, always putting loved ones first. She was selfless, giving, and found great fulfillment as a volunteer driver for Social Services where she helped those in need get to their doctor appointments. Sue was diagnosed with lupus in her 30s and fought hard to maintain an active life despite this. She continued to travel to see her children and be there for her grandchildren whom gave her immeasurable happiness. By the grace of God, Sue survived a Type A aortic dissection in April 2014.

Sue is survived by her husband, Daniel (Dan) Lynn Mosier; her three children, Vicki Sue Georges, Jenny Rae Georges Bioux (Emmanuel Bioux), Daniel Larry Mosier (Shara Vallier); her 5 grandchildren, Joshua Daniel Georges (Vicki), Chloe Alexis-Leigh Pinar (Vicki), Alyssa Lynn Vallier (Dan), Camryn Leigh Mosier (Dan), and Vivienne Kathlene Bioux (Jenny); her brother Ronald Beauchamp; sisters, Judi Beauchamp and Karen Beauchamp; and beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her brother Larry Beauchamp; grandson, Dustin Georges; father Robert Beauchamp; and mother Verlarae Beauchamp.
