Dave, Patti, and Family,
I am so sorry to hear the news about your mom. This has certainly been a difficult year for the Howe family. I was telling my mom the news and she told me that Lily and her went down to Milwaukee to join the military near the end of WW ll and my mom "failed" the physical but Lily passed and was accepted. On the way home Lily wasn't too happy that their plans to join together suddenly fell apart but then, in a stroke of good luck, the war ended and neither of them had to go!
Just know that I am thinking of you and pray that you get through this difficult time. I am sure that in her 93 years your mom left behind many great memories that will bring a smile to your lips when you remember her in the future.

My condolences to the Howe family. Lil was a very kind Aunt. I have many wonderful memories of her and Uncle Bill. She will be truly missed.
