Frank J. Sacco

Frank J. Sacco, age 96, formerly of 1323 North 18th Street in Escanaba, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming. He was born on February 18, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Gaetan and Govannina (Marone) Sacco. Frank worked for many years as a woodworker and later at Marble Arms in Gladstone. After his retirement, he enjoyed working with wood and making various crafts. Frank would sell his works of art in the summer months and would also give many of them away as gifts to friends and family. He enjoyed practicing and playing his harmonica.

Frank J. Sacco is survived by children, Frances Wrate, and Joseph Sacco; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, John Sacco; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by daughter, Jennie Sue Anderson; stepson, Clifton Albert Bellows; sister, Connie Gibbs; and brothers, Thomas and Louis Sacco.

Private funeral services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba.
