Donna Jean Terrian, age 59, of 3610 8th Ave. S. in Escanaba, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at U.P. Health System – Marquette. She was born on November13, 1958 in Wasco, CA, the daughter of George and Melba (Clement) Whimley. Donna attended high school in Bakersfield, CA. For a change of pace, she moved to the Upper Peninsula 30 years ago and has resided in Escanaba for the past 15 years. Throughout Donna’s life she has worked in various restaurants as a server and a cook. She retired after many years as a part owner of a motel and restaurant. Donna enjoyed working on puzzles, crafts, and pressing her luck at the casino. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and sightseeing.

Donna J. Terrian is survived by significant other, Dan Bartlett of Escanaba; daughter-in-law, Jessie Meyer of Gladstone; grandson, Dominic Meyer; granddaughter, Daisey Meyer; sister, Linda Perea of North Hills, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Anderson; and brother, Kenneth Clement.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Donna will follow at 2:00 p.m., Monday, in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Grant officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery.
