Dennis John Kocian, age 62, of Green Bay, WI, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 while visiting friends in Escanaba, MI. He was born on January 30, 1955 in Two Rivers, WI the son of James and Marie (Brouchoud) Kocian. Dennis attended Washington High School in Two Rivers, WI and graduated in the class of 1973. He went on to study Culinary Arts at Fox Valley Technical School. Dennis was employed as a restaurant general manager at F.W. Woolworth Company in Milwaukee, WI. He went on to fully utilize his talent and creativity in Culinary Arts working as a chef for many years. Later in life, Dennis changed careers and worked as a maintenance mechanic for a local printing company. Dennis was a loyal friend, a true “Mr. Fix-it”, and an avid outdoorsman. Many weekends you could find him helping family and friends with various projects, working on his vehicle, or hunting and fishing.

Dennis J. Kocian is survived by two daughters, Shannon Kocian, and Nichole Kocian; former wife, Mary; one grandson, Brayden; two brothers, Dale (Becky) Kocian, and Richard (Connie) Kocian; two sisters, Sue Lynn (Tim) Kazar and Cindy (Ron Muller) Kocian-Grebin, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marie (Brouchoud) Kocian.  

To respect Dennis’ final wishes, private funeral and burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
