Dear Stan, Becki, Aimee, and Spike: I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sally was a special friend and loved her family more than mere words can say. I know your memories of her will keep you smiling until you meet again. I know MY memories will keep ME smiling as Sally was quite the character! Know that she touched a lot of lives in a very good way and never backed down from anything. It was impossible to have a conversation with Sally without walking away with a big smile and laughter in your heart. I'm really going to miss my dear long-time friend, so I can only imagine how much all of you are going to miss her.

So very sorry for your loss! Sally was a great friend to my mom, Ann Johnson. I want to share a silly memory cause I believe that is the best way to move forward....When Rose was born, Sally gave her a pair of very sparkly pink shoes. They were much too big. Sally told me to put them on a shelf and just wait. So I did. Rose was quite small when she figured out those where for her and she loved them! She has loved shoes very since. Sally defiantly created a little girl who loved shoes simply by teasing her with those pink sparkles! She will be missed, but never forgotten!

Sally and I hung out together when we were in 7 and 8th grade. She would invite me over to parents house on Superior Ave. I will always remember that friendship we had. We graduated together in 1977 from Gladstone. We lost touch after graduation but through out the years if we saw each other we would stop and talk even if it was only for a few minutes. I moved 10 years ago and I found out Sally had cancer through Facebook. It was so sad to find out that she lost her battle. It looks like she was loved not only by her family but by many friends. Rest In Peace my friend. ❤️
