Joyce A. Jensen, age 89, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, January 4, 2018 at U.P. Health System – Marquette after a brief illness. Joyce was born on January 11, 1928 to Victor and Henrietta Guindon. She married Robert Jensen and together they raised four children. Joyce enjoyed camping, the outdoors, playing bingo and cards. She loved spending time spending time with her family and her friends at Christian Park Healthcare Center. Joyce especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce A. Jensen is survived by four sons, Thomas (Sharral) Jensen of Hartwell, GA, Steve (Kris) Jensen of Quinnesec, MI, Jim (Tina) Jensen of Escanaba, and Rob (Tammy) Jensen of Escanaba; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings, Victor, Walley, Buelah, Violet, and Priscilla.

Private family funeral services were held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba with Pastor Judy Kincaid officiating. Inurnment took place in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
