David E. Linnee, age 53, of 4935 Whisper 18.8 Lane in Escanaba (Soo Hill), passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 3, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born on January 3, 1964 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Roger and Beverly (Agre) Linnee. David grew up in Gwinn and was a member of the Gwinn High School graduating class of 1982. Following graduation, he attended Lake Superior State College where he received an Associate Degree in Drafting & Design and went on to receive his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1987. On August 26, 1989, David married the former Victoria Gossett at KI Sawyer. Together the couple shared 27 years of marriage and raised three beautiful children, Chelsea, Joshua, and Devin. David worked as a Mechanical Engineer at EMP in Escanaba for 25 years. He enjoyed camping at various places in the Upper Peninsula, golfing, boating, and bowling. David loved spending time with his family and lived his life to the fullest.

David E. Linnee is survived by wife, Vicki of Escanaba; daughter, Chelsea (Patrick) Covitz of Marinette, WI; sons, Joshua (fiancAC. Amanda McKellar) Linnee of Cedar Springs, MI, and Devin Linnee of Escanaba; one grandson, Lincoln Linnee; brother, Donald Linnee of Gwinn; sister, Diane (Todd) Substad of Eagle Lake, MN; parents, Roger and Beverly Linnee of Gwinn; mother-in-law, Judy Gossett of LeRoy, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents; and father-in-law, David Gossett.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of David will follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Todd Substad officiating.
