We are sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Danny. I only met him twice when he visited my father and Uncle Dick in Pennsylvania, but I was fairly young at the time. I am sad I did not get to know him.; but my father spoke of him often. I can see he was a loving and talented person. Please accept our heartfelt condolences at this time. We believe he is now back together with his sister and brothers.

Dear Evans Family,
Jeanne and I were pastors at the Escanaba Salvation Army in the early 1960's. We very quickly found out that it would be difficult to not like Dan Evans. He always seemed to have something nice to say about others. Dan also had a contageous smile, a great sense of humor and he was always compassionate about the needs of others. For example, we had one young man who came back to our church after completing his military service. This young man was continuously suffering serious seizures and Dan was always there for him when he was needed. Yes, Dan has left quite an example for his friends and family to follow. And, yes, it is a time to grieve but also a time to celebrate the life he lived.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are held close in thought at this sad time.
I will always remember "Mr. Evans" as a joyous person who always wanted to make others happy. His lightheartedness and joy was contagious. He will be greatly missed.

To the Evans family,
Just wanting you to know I am thinking of you all and keeping you in prayer. Dan was an amazing person that's for sure. I will be out of town for his service but want you to know I am there in spirit. Wishing you God's peace and comfort.
