Collette Marie (Hope) Seabrook, age 48, of Gladstone, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in Rock, Michigan.
 
Collette was born in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri on October 22, 1969.  She graduated from Sault Area Schools with the class of 1987.  She went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from LSSU.  Collette worked many years for Gordon Food Service first in Sault Ste. Marie and later in Escanaba.  More recently she worked at Christian Park Nursing Home in Escanaba as an accountant.  Collette enjoyed camping, just being outdoors, and traveling to Alaska (although she would never permanently leave her beloved UP).  She loved animals, especially her dogs.  Many times she would bring "Ed" to the nursing home for visits.
 
Collette is survived by her son: Cory Laurent Seabrook of Gwinn, MI; her grandchild: Jasmin Seabrook; her significant other: Brand Nummilien of Rock, MI; her mother: Wanda (Larry) Charbonneau of Sault Ste. Marie, MI;  her step-mother: Sally Hope of Alaska; two brothers: Ryan (Melissa) Charbonneau of Grand Ledge, MI and Kevin (Elizabeth) Charbonneau of Laingsburg, MI; and a sister: Stacy (Philip) Simpson of Lake Ann, MI.  She is also survived by her two dogs: Ed and Eric.
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael W. Hope.
 
A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with Father Sebastian Kavumkal as celebrant.  Burial will be held at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens on a later date.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Chippewa Animal Control Shelter.
