Carolyn (Fazer) Keasling

Carolyn (Fazer) Keasling, age 75, former Powers resident, passed away in Sun City, Ariz. She was born June 14, 1941 in Escanaba and was the daughter of John and Jeanette (Perket) Fazer. Carolyn grew up in Powers and graduated from Powers High School. She had a charismatic personality and enjoyed people. Carolyn was a gifted person who was very talented in interior decorating. She lived most of her life in California.
Carolyn (Fazer) Keasling is survived by: son, Dan Keasling of Montana; two grandchildren, Audrey and Ann; and several aunts and uncles, Ann Mae Fazer of Powers, Walter (Marilyn) Fazer of Powers, Nancy Fazer of Powers, Arthur Messier of Escanaba, and Warren Kudzma of Rockford, Ill.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by uncles Clarence, Raymond “Bud,” Louis and Joseph Fazer, and aunts Theresa Messier and Bernadette Kudzma.
A memorial mass will be held at noon (CST) on Monday, May 29, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Spalding with Father Jacek Wtyklo officiating.
